Is weer zo'n soort dat in zijn natuurlijke leefomgeving met uitsterven wordt bedreigd. Gelukkig doet hij het in cultuur redelijk goed en is daarom dan ook een prima kuipplant. Is vernoemd naar zijn ontdekker Dr. Paul Colinvaux. min temp 10°C.
