P. Yucatanensis is a beautiful decorative terrace plant, which can be put outside in the summer.
Description
This species can only be found on the isle Cozumel, which is situated about 20km of the peninsula Yucatan.
The passionflower is named after Yucatan, in despite it doesn't exist overthere.
It is a nice compact grower with fresh green leaves. Later in the season large number of flowers will appear, sometimes even two flowers will grow out of a leaf axil. Has a good resistance against diseases. Minimum temperature: 12° C (54° F).
