Deze Astrophea heeft een groot verspeidingsgebied over Zuid-Amerika. Komt voor in Berlize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua en Panama. Is een echt tropisch soort waarbij de min temp niet onder de 12 °C dient te komen.
Groeit zoals de meeste Astrophea periodiek, maar kan een flinke plant worden. Als de plant een jaar of drie is zal hij als het naar de zin heeft prachtig gaan bloeien.

We don't ship Passion Flowers during frost periods, we ask for you understanding regarding this and to take this in account whenever you place an order.
